In Q2 2024, the performance of the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Africa showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

CryptoTab Farm: Digital Gold observed fluctuating weekly revenue, starting at $1.5K and gradually decreasing to around $394 by the end of June. Weekly downloads peaked at 2.3K during mid-May but settled at approximately 1.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar pattern, beginning at 904 and reaching a high of 1.8K before closing the quarter at 1.3K.

Robox – Tap & Earn! experienced a decline in both weekly revenue and downloads throughout Q2. Revenue started at $658 in early April, dropping to $256 by the end of June. Downloads also saw a significant decrease from 999 to just 41 during the same period.

Revenue showed stable growth, with peaks at $405 and $323 in early June and late June, respectively. Active users remained robust, hovering around 340K to 416K throughout the quarter.
